The Curaçao Weather App is committed to preserving your privacy.
The app does not collect any data without your permission and, in normal operation, does not transmit any data about you to our servers.
If and only if you choose to submit impacts via the dedicated "Report an Impact" feature, the data you explicitly provide for the report will be transmitted to our servers for further processing by the app and/or the Meteorological Department. Data collected as part of a report includes the (optional) photo and description/comment you provide, and may also include your current GPS location, if you choose to enable that option.
The app uses Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-in (on iOS and Android, respectively) for submitting reports, to avoid spam and abuse. The reports you submit will be internally linked to your account in case the Weather Department needs to follow up with you, but no information about your account will be made available to anybody. Only the type of impact and the rough location will become visible to other users of the app.

De app verzamelt geen gegevens zonder uw toestemming en verzendt tijdens normaal gebruik geen informatie over u naar onze servers.
Alleen wanneer u ervoor kiest om meldingen te verzenden via de speciale functie “Rapporteer een impact”, worden de gegevens die u expliciet voor die melding verstrekt doorgestuurd naar onze servers voor verdere verwerking door de app en/of de Meteorologische Dienst. Gegevens die als onderdeel van een melding worden verzameld, omvatten de (optionele) foto en beschrijving/opmerking die u opgeeft, en kunnen ook uw huidige GPS-locatie bevatten indien u ervoor kiest deze optie in te schakelen.
De app maakt gebruik van ‘Log in met Apple’ en ‘Google Sign-in’ (op respectievelijk iOS en Android) voor het indienen van meldingen, om spam en misbruik te voorkomen. De meldingen die u indient worden intern gekoppeld aan uw account, voor het geval de Meteorologische Dienst contact met u moet opnemen, maar er zal geen informatie over uw account beschikbaar worden gesteld aan derden. Alleen het type impact en de globale locatie worden zichtbaar voor andere gebruikers van de app.
